Store Policies

Depending on the item(s) you purchase on lockdownsportsva.com and the location to which the items will be delivered, different shipping methods will be available. Currently Lockdown Sports ships via USPS and United Parcel Service (UPS). Each shipping method has its own restrictions and charges that will be applied to your order. At checkout, you will be prompted to choose a shipping method for your item(s). (Please note, some items may offer only one shipping method.) Shipping costs are dependent on the items in your order and the shipping method you select. Your total shipping charges will automatically compute during checkout prior to the completion of your order.

We accept major credit cards and payment via PayPal. Credit cards and Paypal require us to ship to your billing address. Unless you have added an additional shipping address registered to your PayPal or credit card account Lockdown Sports, Inc reserves the right to change the shipping address in your order to the billing address without your consent. Additionally, if your order has a different shipping and billing address this will cause a delay in shipping your item(s) while the information is verified.

Shipping

lockdownsportsva.com offers free shipping on bats (exceptions being all international). Most bats are shipped using USPS Priority shipping. All other items are typically shipped by the carrier selected and paid for by the purchaser that has been available through the consumer website of Lockdown Sports Gear. Please allow 7-10 business days for your item(s) to arrive, though this time frame is not guaranteed by carriers.

Order Tracking

At Lockdown Sports, tracking numbers are assigned to packages within 24 hours and generally appears on our Website along with your order information. However, it may take up to several hours before the package is scanned into the carrier’s tracking system. That means even though your package has already been shipped from Lockdown Sports and is on its way to you, the carrier may not be able to provide any information about your package for up to 48 hours or more.

The status of your order is easy to find. First, check your e-mail. You were required to enter an e-mail address during checkout; you will receive e-mails at your address keeping you up-to-date about the status of your order. Also visit our website to view information about your most recent orders (including tracking information) as well as past orders. Contact us if you still have questions about your order.

Sales Tax

State law requires that we charge applicable sales tax on orders billed within the state of Virginia.

PayPal

PayPal is an alternate method for purchasing your order on lockdownsportsva.com. It enables any individual or business with an email address to securely send payments online. With a PayPal account, you can choose to pay with your credit card, debit card, bank account, or PayPal account balance for any purchase you make. Your credit card and bank numbers are never seen by the seller or merchant. Plus, you’re 100% protected against unauthorized payments sent from your account. If you select PayPal as your payment option, you will continue through the standard checkout process then automatically proceed to paypal.com to complete your payment.

Discount Codes

During the Checkout process, you will see a “Discount Codes” section. Enter the discount code exactly as it appears, in the box next to “Discount Code.”

Order Emails

After you place your order, you will receive e-mails about your order. Below are examples of e-mails you might receive:

Order Confirmation: This email confirms that we have received your order. It includes your order number. Keep this e-mail for your records.

Shipment Confirmation: This e-mail confirms that your order or part of your order has been sent to the warehouse for shipping. This DOES NOT mean that your order has been shipped. There is a small chance that once in the warehouse your order will not be fulfilled due to an item being out of stock. If this is the case, someone from our Customer Service Department will contact you with an estimated ship date.

Canceling an Order

Occasionally, orders or parts of an order are canceled by our system for various reasons. Some reasons are:

– Item(s) not available
– Difficulty in processing your payment information
– Cannot ship to address provided
– Duplicate order was placed
– If your order is canceled, you will receive a notice regarding your order via e-mail which will explain the reason for the cancellation. You will not be billed for any canceled items.

Processing Time

Orders are shipped as expeditiously as possible. Lockdown Sports makes every effort to process and ship all orders within one business day. Orders made after business hours on Friday are processed Monday and shipped on Tuesday at the latest. All orders shipped via USPS are shipped the day after they are processed.

Update an Order

Orders may only be updated by contacting Lockdown Sports directly. Since we try to process and ship orders as efficiently as possible, please contact us at your earliest convenience to ensure your order is corrected before we ship it to you.

Defective or Damaged Product

If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact Lockdown Sports within 24 hours of delivery at sales@lockdownsportsva.com. Please supply us with your name, order number and tracking number from your original confirmation e-mail. We will also need your e-mail address and phone number. Lockdown Sports will make every reasonable effort to work with the shipping carrier to replace the item(s) in a timely manner. We cover shipping charges of carriers of Lockdown’s choice if there was damage to the item due to shipping.

If we cannot replace the item you will receive a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 business days of Lockdown Sport receiving the returned merchandise.

Returning an Item

If you would like to return an item to Lockdown Sports, please follow these steps:

– Please sales@lockdownsportsva.com stating the reason for your return within 48 hours of receipt
– If your return has been approved you will receive a unique RA ( Return Authorization Number ) Please note if you try to return your package without an RA # it will be refused and sent back to you.
– Pack the item securely in the original package, if possible.
– Enclose a copy of your original sales receipt with a note detailing what you are returning and why. Be sure to keep the original sales receipt for your records.
– All products must be returned in the Original condition, in original boxes, and with all paperwork, parts and accessories to ensure full credit.
– All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.

Credit

You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 business days of our receiving your returned product. You will be refunded the shipping cost only if the return is a result of a shipping error on our part. Return items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Return Exception

Bats

We do not accept returns on used bats or bats removed from original packages or plastic wrapping. Any exchange or return for warranty or non-warranty must be handled directly with the manufacturer.

All Other Products

We do not accept returns on any items that have been used or removed from manufacturer boxes, packages or plastic wrapping. Or apparel that has had the tags removed.

Product Warranty

Many of the items that are sold on lockdownsportsva.com come with a manufacturer’s warranty. For additional information on the manufacturer’s warranty for a specific product, contact the manufacturer directly. The following are some common manufacturers:

Item Availability

Most items on lockdownsportsva.com are in stock and ready to ship. Some items are either temporarily out-of-stock or are not available for shipment until a specific release date provided by the manufacturer (preorders). Orders for in stock items begin the order process as soon as your online purchase is completed. Your in stock item will be shipped once the item is located in stock, your payment is approved, and the receiving address is verified. Lockdown Sports makes every attempt to ship by the next business day. After your order leaves Lockdown Sports, delivery times vary according to the shipping method you select during checkout and the location of your shipping address. Please note that business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.
